Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Click "Register" in the top navigation. You can sign up as a regular user (to browse and download) or as an author (to sell your work).
Is Files Ground free to use?
Browsing is free. Downloading assets requires either a subscription plan or a one-time purchase per asset.
What file formats are available?
Images: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF. Videos: MP4, MOV. Audio: MP3, WAV. Graphics: SVG, AI, EPS, PDF. AI Prompts: text files.
Downloads & Licensing
What can I do with downloaded assets?
You can use them in commercial and personal projects including websites, apps, print, advertising, and video. See our full License Agreement for details.
Do I need to credit the author?
Attribution is not required for most uses. For editorial publications, crediting the author is appreciated.
Can I use assets in client work?
Yes. Your license covers use in projects you create for clients.
Can I use assets to train AI models?
No. Using Files Ground assets to train, fine-tune, or build AI/ML models is prohibited under our license.
Subscriptions
What does a subscription include?
Unlimited downloads of all assets on the platform for the duration of your subscription.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, at any time. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Do downloaded files remain accessible after cancellation?
Yes. Files you downloaded during your active subscription remain licensed to you permanently.
For Authors
How do I start selling?
Go to Become an Author, create an author account, complete KYC verification, then upload your assets from your dashboard.
How much do I earn per sale?
Your earnings are shown in your author dashboard. Files Ground retains a platform commission on each transaction.
How do I get paid?
Request a withdrawal from your dashboard once your balance reaches the minimum threshold. Payments are processed within 5–10 business days.
Why was my asset rejected?
Common reasons include technical quality issues, missing releases, copyright concerns, or content policy violations. The rejection reason is shown in your dashboard.
Account & Security
How do I reset my password?
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes.
How do I delete my account?
Email support@filesground.com with your request. We'll process it within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed by PayPal. Files Ground never stores your card details.
