Author Terms

1. Becoming an Author

• You must complete KYC (identity verification) before your assets go live.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must have the legal right to sell the content you upload.
• One author account per person or legal entity.

2. Content Requirements

2.1 Originality

All submitted content must be your original work. You may not upload content that infringes the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.

2.2 Releases

Content featuring recognizable people requires a signed model release. Content featuring private property requires a property release. You must retain these releases and provide them upon request.

2.3 Technical Standards

• Images: minimum 4MP, no excessive noise or compression artifacts.
• Videos: minimum 1080p, stable footage, no watermarks.
• Audio: minimum 44.1kHz, no clipping or background noise.
• Vectors: clean paths, properly grouped, no raster elements embedded.

3. Review Process

All submitted assets are reviewed by our team before going live. We may approve, reject, or request revisions. Rejection reasons will be provided. Repeated submission of low-quality or infringing content may result in account suspension.

4. Pricing & Revenue Share

• You set the price for each asset within the platform's allowed range.
• Files Ground retains a platform commission on each sale (displayed in your dashboard).
• Subscription revenue is distributed monthly based on your share of total downloads.
• Revenue share rates may change with 30 days' written notice.

5. Withdrawals

• Minimum withdrawal amount applies (see your dashboard for current threshold).
• Withdrawals are processed within 5–10 business days of approval.
• You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your earnings in your jurisdiction.
• Files Ground may withhold payments if fraud or policy violations are suspected.

6. Exclusivity

Files Ground does not require exclusivity. You may sell the same content on other platforms unless you have entered into a separate exclusivity agreement with us.

7. Content Removal

You may remove your content from the platform at any time. However, licenses already granted to buyers remain valid. Files Ground may remove content that violates these terms without notice.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Files Ground harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your content, including claims of copyright infringement, defamation, or violation of third-party rights.
